Syntheses and structural characterizations of first paraben-substituted ferrocenyl phosphazene compounds

The Cl replacement reactions of NO (1) or NN (2–5) spirocyclic monoferrocenyl cyclotriphosphazenes with the potassium salt of ethyl-4-hydroxybenzoate resulted in the full substituted phosphazenes (6-10). Their structures have been determined using elemental analysis, FTIR (Fourier transform), 1H (one-dimensional-1D), 31P NMR techniques and X-ray crystallography (for 9 and 10).
